Eight bodies reported found aboard Costa Concordia (**updated**)

Eight more victims of the Costa Concordia capsize have been located within the wreck, according to AFP, the Associated Press and other news reports from Italy.

AFP cited civil protection authorities as stating that the bodies were found in a submerged area. One is said to be a child. The bodies have not been identified but the only child listed as missing is Dayana Arlotti, 5, of Italy.

If the findings are confirmed, the death toll from the Jan. 13 incident would go to 25, with seven people missing.

On Wednesday morning, four bodies were found, with more more discovered later in the day. Earlier, 17 bodies were recovered from Costa Concordia.
